Optomi, in partnership with a leading construction and real estate organization, is seeking an Integration Developer to support its rental business unit. This position focuses on maintaining and expanding batch-based data integrations—primarily related to AR/AP and financial transactions—between enterprise platforms. While the current work centers on enhancing legacy SQL, REST, SOAP, and sFTP-based integrations, the roadmap includes a future shift toward near real-time pipelines, offering the right candidate a chance to grow into more strategic, architecture-level work.

This is a strong fit for a candidate with proven experience in TypeScript, SQL, and API consumption, who can collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders and is motivated to work through complex or legacy environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support and enhance data integrations between internal systems (ERP, POS, etc.) and the OES division
2. Manage integrations for financial transactions, including invoice and purchase order workflows
3. Work closely with a team of BAs, tech leads, and operational stakeholders to refine existing workflows
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical integration issues and perform QA on data pipelines
5. Deliver practical, maintainable solutions in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
6. Contribute to documentation and process improvements as integration demands grow

Core Tech Stack:

1. TypeScript
2. SQL (strong data manipulation and querying skills)
3. REST and SOAP APIs
4. sFTP and file-based transfer protocols
5. ERP systems and legacy integration patterns

Nice-to-Have:

1. Familiarity with low/no-code platforms like Power Apps or OutSystems
2. Experience with e-commerce workflows, POS systems, or construction/rental business logic
3. Exposure to serverless platforms (e.g., Azure Functions)
4. Previous use of integration platforms like Jitterbit, Boomi, or Workato
