Our Fortune 15 Health Services client is looking for a dynamic Synon / IBM Application Developer to join their Pharmacy team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer with experience in CA 2E/Synon to work on enterprise-level integration projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment. As part of a collaborative and passionate development team, you’ll contribute to building and maintaining scalable, reliable applications that support critical pharmacy operations—while also gaining exposure to emerging technologies and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using CA 2E/Synon and IBM mainframe technologies.
2. Build and support RESTful APIs in line with modern application architecture standards.
3. Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand requirements, study systems flow, and improve application performance.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, identifying bottlenecks and delivering efficient solutions.
5. Document technical designs to support enterprise architecture, training, and maintenance needs.
6. Stay informed on new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
2. 3–5 years of experience with IBM Mainframe systems using CA 2E/Synon.
3. Solid understanding of application development lifecycle methodologies and Agile practices.
4. Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases.
5. Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
7. Adaptable, collaborative, and eager to grow with evolving technology.
