Job Description:

The HR Employee Experience Director at See's oversees Human Resources Business Partners, Employee Experience and HR Programs. In this role, you report directly to the SVP/CHRO and lead the charge in driving an amazing employee journey for our team while championing our commitment to See’s core values and key objectives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and work closely with HR Business Partners to increase efficiency, automation, and innovation to improve employee experience.
  • Assess, redesign and roll out people programs across the employee journey (i.e., onboarding, performance management, cultural events, etc.) to create moments of delight for the See’s team.
  • Develop appropriate reporting and analytics to provide a holistic view of the workforce for the SVP/CHRO and management staff in partnership with the HR Operations Director.
  • Provide leadership and development support to Human Resources and other team members, establishing individual goals (near and long term), training and development, and performance management.
  • Develop Human Resources Business Partners as consultants with the ability to provide full range of services. Promote proactive, positive employee relations practices that balance the role of employee advocate and company representative.
  • Partner with See’s management staff and HR Business Partners to develop HR strategies that support key business needs or initiatives.
  • Consult and coordinate with SVP/CHRO and legal counsel on litigated personnel matters as well as proposed and implemented regulatory and policy changes.
  • Complete special projects requiring familiarity with Human Resources and the impact Human Resources actions have on the business.
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five to seven years of strategic Human Resources management experience for a consumer goods manufacturing and/or sales organization, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. PHR/SPHR or similar HR certification highly desirable.
  • Experience working in retail required; professional and positive experience with represented workforce is a plus!
  • Systems experience in Workday, Monster, Humanity, and other HR Tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, from executive to front-line levels, both orally and in writing.
  • Advanced proficiency in PC skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and search engines; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Solid relationship management skills with strong collaborative, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Must be able to build trust and strong partnerships with all levels of management and employee.
  • Strong bias for action, self-motivated, and deadline driven.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
