Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Chandler, AZ

Pay: $50,000-$55,000/yearly

Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting and facilitating human resource processes for our US operations. As a key member of our global HR team, this position is responsible for processing payroll, administering employee health and welfare plans, and serving as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. The role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, resolves payroll and benefits-related issues, and fosters positive employee relations. Administrative support, record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, training, and policy development are integral components of this role, which collaborates closely with various functions within the business, including Sales, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Service across two companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll, manage employee payroll file updates, and ensure secure and confidential data handling.
  • Administer health and welfare plans, handling enrollments, changes, and terminations, while ensuring accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Ownership of hire and exit process.
  • Provide customer service by addressing employee requests and questions.
  • Complete Forms I-9, verify documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
  • Submit online investigation requests and assist with new-employee background checks.
  • Reconcile benefits issues.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommend corrective action.
  • Assist with processing terminations and preparation of the performance review process.
  • Participate in recruitment and interview processes, tracking candidate status, and responding with follow-up letters.
  • Schedule meetings and interviews, perform clerical functions, including photocopying, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents.
  • File documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assist or prepare correspondence as requested.
  • Prepare new-employee files.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional prioritization, organization, and attention to detail skills.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Ability to use own initiative to address problems and present solutions.
  • Professional, team-oriented approach.
  • 1-2 years of human resources experience with growing responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
