MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

Working closely with all the Managers of the company and the VP of Finance & HR, your main mission will be to support the company's global Human Resources management and especially the Recruitment and the Training aspects. You will support all the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems and provide counseling on policies and procedures.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & MISSIONS

Recruitment

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the staffing needs, conduct thorough job analyses, and strategize recruitment plans accordingly
  • Create compelling job descriptions and post vacancies across Clear Company and the various platforms, ensuring visibility and attracting potential candidates

  • Manage the hiring process by reviewing applications, conduct initial screenings, and meticulously shortlist candidates based on their qualifications, skills, and experience to help managers interview only the best candidates and finalize the recruitment

  • If needed, help managers to coordinate and conduct interviews (phone, video, in-person), assessing candidates' suitability and evaluating their alignment with the organization and reach out to references

  • Together with the managers, extend job offers, negotiate terms when necessary, and guide successful candidates through the onboarding process smoothly

 

Training

  • Identify the organization's training needs by analyzing skills gaps, conducting performance evaluations, and anticipating future business requirements

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs and materials tailored to address identified needs and align with specific learning objectives

  • Conduct engaging training sessions, either in person or virtually, utilizing various methodologies to ensure effective knowledge transfer

  • Assess the impact of training programs and post-training assessments to gauge the effectiveness of learning outcomes

  • Manage logistics, schedule training sessions, coordinate with trainers or external vendors, and oversee training budgets efficiently

  • Provide employees with guidance on career development opportunities, recommend training paths, and support skill enhancement initiatives

 

Others HR Missions

  • Be involved in the company's CSR initiatives and ensure the well-being of our employees by following health and Safety Action plan with the Safety Coordinators

  • Support Managers by providing guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and leadership development whenever they require assistance

  • Find new schools / associations related to our activity and try to create partnerships

  • Follow the Individual Interview and Year Review realization and be a support for the Managers or Employees when needed

  • Follow Offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and follow-ups, ensuring a positive departure experience and gathering valuable feedback

  • Handle HR communications, disseminating important updates, policies, and fostering transparent communication channels to keep employees informed

  • Be a real player in the employer brand and ensure a Quality of Work Life approach for employees in order to increase their satisfaction.

Any other HR missions may appear in the position based on the company needs.

 

PROFILE

Highly autonomous, agile and dynamic, you like being challenged and you're not afraid to take on several general HR assignments. We're looking for a candidate with a Degree in Human Resources who has a real interest in this field and few years of experience.

Requirements:

  • Degree in HR and at least few years of HR Specialist experience

  • Knowledge of US Labor and Compliance Laws

  • Excellent verbal & Written communication

  • Organizational and time management skills required

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks

  • Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary

  • Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values

  • Strong interpersonal service skills

  • Good computer skills such as Google Workspace

  • Fluency in English, with Spanish and French as a plus

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Location: Long Island City, NY

Starting Date: April 2024

Type of Contract: Part-Time, 20 hours per week

Salary: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience
