Through its global distribution network, the Company’s products are sold in over 120 countries.

 

Our growing company is currently seeking a Global Sales Associate, reporting to the Global Sales Administration Director. The Global Sales Associate contributes to the overall performance of the Asia–Pacific (APAC) sales region by ensuring smooth coordination between sales and marketing teams, clients, distribution center, and internal support departments for all fragrance brands sold there.

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with an analytical mindset and experience in sales support and order administration, capable of processing client purchase orders and seeing them through to fulfillment.

 

This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing order processing by keying client purchase orders into Business Central ERP
  • Verifying and communicating stock availability
  • Ensuring contractual obligations are applied and reflected on each order, such as discounts, special agreements, etc
  • Daily communication with clients, i.e. inventory delays, packing status, shipment details, dispatch timing
  • Facilitating information flow between the client and internal departments
  • Managing delivery deadlines and following up with distribution center, forwarders and clients to ensure delivery on time
  • Liaising with finance department to anticipate past due/over limit accounts and taking action
  • Manipulating sales data in Excel to answer queries, detect discrepancies and fulfill post-sales procedures
  • Reporting to the Global Sales Administration Director on order fulfillment status
  • Assisting in solving shipping issues, reviewing and addressing damage claims, and processing returns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of sales operations (invoicing, discounts, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze sales data in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables)
  • High attention to detail and focus on quality of work
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously

 

Education/Experience

  • BA/BS degree (Business degree preferred) or proven relevant experience
  • 1-2 years in a sales administration/logistics/customer service role
  • Experience using Business Central or similar ERP is a plus
