As a Full Stack Developer, you will have the opportunity to design, build, test, maintain, and have a direct and meaningful impact on the roadmap of digital platforms. The Full Stack Developer strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and practices and be a role model.

The key responsibilities of a Full Stack Developer include:

• Identify and uphold full stack engineering best practices
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on product design and implementation
• Design a framework for creating services that grow with the needs of the company
• Review app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development team
• Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website, mobile app, and external client apps
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies

Key skills we look for include:

• 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer
• Significant knowledge of front-end web development frameworks like Angular or React
• Knowledge of SQL Database and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB/Cassandra)
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience with modern micro-service architecture
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of REST principles
• Experience with Docker containerization in AWS or Azure cloud deployment/application management
• Experience using source control and pull requests for feature-driven development in Bitbucket/Stash
• Detail oriented and works well in a team and individually
• Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure
• Understanding of the entire development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times
• Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills
• Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines
• Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
• Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
• Webpack, Rollup, Jenkins, or similar build tooling is a plus.
• Micro front-ends Svelte.js/Sapper.js Marko.js a plus
