As a Barclays Full Stack Developer, you will provide key development deliverables within the Global KYC & Onboarding IT organization. You will be responsible for being a part of a development team tasked with enhancing client management platform and you will be responsible for developing, implementing and delivering technical components in alignment with the program as it develops.

What will you be doing?
 

• Conducting analysis of systems, services, and data models to accurately represent business/technical processes
• Analysing and understanding business requirements and functional specifications
• Participating and assisting with the testing and production lifecycle for functionality and scalability limits/constraints
• Exposure to SQL queries and Query optimization, debugging, tuning, analytical functions and objects, etc

What we’re looking for:

• Understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and practices (Scrum, Kanban etc) and tools (Rally, Jira, Jenkins etc)
• Exposure to developing, designing applications
• Knowledge of relational database technology, data integration technology and tools
• Hands-on experience as developer using any programming language, preferably Java implementations

Skills that will help you in the role:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Management or related discipline (An appropriate combination of education and directly related experience may satisfy this requirement)
• Able to multi-task effectively
• Comfortable with changing priorities and requirements
• Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with other team members and business representatives
