Our client is currently seeking a passionate freelance Illustrator to join their dynamic team!

As an Illustrator, you will be tasked with the exciting role of building a personalization iconography set tailored for laser etching and engraving on a groundbreaking new device. The ideal candidate is creative, talented, and motivated and seeking an opportunity to leave a mark on the world of technology and design. This is your chance to contribute to a project that blends art with cutting-edge technology, offering users a unique personal touch.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a diverse personalization iconography set focusing on fashion, racing, live music, food & beverage genres, ensuring a wide range of styles and themes.
• Create production assets, storyboards, icons, graphics, and illustrations in various styles, directly collaborating with peers, leads, and other disciplines.
• Engage in the modification of icon sets and the examination of mood boards, bringing a dynamic range of penmanship and line work to the table.
• Work closely with the Art Director and other team members to produce in-app content, video content, style guides, branding, and marketing materials.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, project kickoffs, and design critiques, offering your unique insights and creative solutions.
• Collaborate with the team's Art Director to ensure the visual consistency and creative integrity of various content types.
• Help to define and refine visual language, contributing to a unique and captivating user experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors
• Proficient in illustration and production design, with advanced skills in drawing, vector, typography, layout, and color.
• Extremely efficient with art programs, capable of delivering high-quality work consistently.
• An inclusive designer who critically and authentically represents guest and project needs.
• Adept at taking creative direction, with the ability to articulate and understand visual design goals.
• Familiar with video production and storyboard layout (preferred, but not essential).
• Eager to learn, contribute, and grow your skills, with a willingness to broaden your core skill set and share best practices and ideas for production innovation.
