Job Description:

An established Non-Profit organization is seeking a vibrant and personable Executive Director for their Education Foundation and Community Affairs. This role requires a dynamic individual who has experience in corporate recruiting and a passion for guiding early career talent into the food service industry. This position will collaborate with HR, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and the Education Foundation to facilitate the transition of individuals from college into the workplace.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Transition and Development:

  • Identify innovative strategies to introduce early career talent to the food service industry.
  • Enhance engagement with colleges and universities, aligning their programs with industry needs.
  • Coordinate and align the Education Foundation with all events to promote industry integration.

Program Leadership and Engagement:

  • Take the lead in planning the annual Education summit, ensuring its alignment with industry needs and educational goals.
  • Oversee engagement activities with Society membership, fostering their involvement in industry initiatives.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Alignment:

  • Connect NextGen Executives with DEI objectives, fostering an inclusive and diverse talent pipeline.

Strategic HR Advisory Role:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior management team on human resources and talent-related matters.
  • Develop and implement effective HR programs focusing on recruitment, rewards, talent retention, total rewards program design, performance management, HR policy development, and employee engagement initiatives.

Internal Mentorship and Support:

  • Act as an internal coach, mentor, and resource for all staff members, supporting their professional growth and development within the organization.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Engaging personality with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Prior experience in corporate recruiting or talent development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating educational programs or talent transition initiatives.
  • Understanding of HR practices and the ability to implement effective HR programs.
  • Strategic thinker capable of aligning educational initiatives with industry needs.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with a passion for supporting early career talent.
