Education Director

STATEMENT OF JOB

 The Education Director/Disability Services Coordinator is responsible for planning the Early Childhood Development program for the Center and Family Child Care Homes; ensuring that services to children with disabilities are provided in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters in Early Childhood Education
• New York State Permanent Certification N – Grade 6 or New York State Professional Certificate Birth – Grade 2
• Minimum of 2 years teaching Early Childhood level under qualified Education Director.
• Physical Requirement:  Physical examination (includes screening for tuberculosis) to show that the individual does not pose a risk to the safety and health of others because communicable diseases.
