Position Overview
The Ecommerce Director will lead the strategic vision and execution of our online sales initiatives. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth through innovative eCommerce strategies, enhancing customer engagement, and optimizing the overall shopping experience across various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive eCommerce strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer engagement.
- Oversee all aspects of the online shopping experience, ensuring a seamless customer journey from browsing to checkout.
- Manage and optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns to increase customer retention and drive sales.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, and IT to ensure alignment on eCommerce goals and initiatives.
- Utilize segmentation techniques to target specific customer demographics for personalized marketing efforts.
- Monitor and report on eCommerce performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in eCommerce, with a strong background in the apparel industry.
- Proven expertise in email and SMS marketing strategies with demonstrated results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and tools, as well as digital marketing best practices.
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and operations is a plus.
