• Duties:

• Under direct supervision regularly and customarily performs and assists with duties of a more complicated nature than that of the Job Grade below current level.

• Assists in the performance of routine repairs on distribution and power transformers, bushings and other de-energized electrical equipment used in distribution of electrical energy.

• Assists in dismantling, assembling and erecting all types of de-energized electrical equipment and structures.

• May be required to do minor plumbing for air, gas, and water lines, to drive truck, to operate winch, excavating, and work of an allied nature.

• Assist higher rated employees in the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of substation equipment by performing related manual work.

• Upon occasion or in emergency performs other related or less skilled work as required or directed.
