We invite you to apply for the Document Design and Communications Coordinator career with our Communications and Public Affairs division. In this role, you will create, revise, format, and publish print and digital media for Argonne clients, leadership, and sponsors. The work often involves projects that are unique, complex, challenging, and require branding conformance. You will also:
Successfully support multiple projects simultaneously on time and within budget.
Oversee the entire formatting and production process and manage workflow.
Mentor other Document Formatting team members and contractors, review their work, and provide guidance.
Train colleagues and contractors in procedures and formatting best practices.
Employ independent judgment, creative problem solving, and a high level of technical expertise. Exercise excellent planning, initiative, and discretion.
Provide other specialized services related to document production and publishing, web development, reformatting documents for 508 compliance, working with citation management systems, and media postings as needed.
Work under minimal supervision independently or as part of an interdisciplinary project team.
Develop on-the-job skills in Drupal content management, Adobe InDesign, SmartSheet work management software and using LaTex for document creation. May need to learn other software as well.
