We are seeking to add an experienced Dispatcher Supervisor to our team. As a Dispatch Supervisor, you’ll bring accountability to the Dispatch team while establishing strong customer relationships as you ensure all LTL and FTL shipments are routed efficiently throughout the day.

This position requires a team player with specific skills in dispatch, relationship management, and customer service skills. You must be enthusiastic, eager to be part of a growing logistics company, and aspire for excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accountability for Dispatch Team
• Dispatching & load planning for a team of 30-50 Local drivers
• Handle driver & load swaps and ensure drivers arrive to destination in timely manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
• Provide & support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as business levels increase
• Review driver assignments, delivery time and other transportation data to evaluate driver performance.
• Communicate scheduling issues and contact employees to fill call offs or no shows
• Able to think critically and problem-solve, as well as be able to make quick decisions under pressure
• Train/Mentor other dispatchers

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of dispatching process and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of the local freeways and major roads
• Ability to identify problems and bring resolutions
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to multiple situations
• Ability to independently identify and prioritize matters of varied importance
• Exceptional organization skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
• Demonstrated dependability and accountability

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management team

Job Type:

Full Time/ Start time 6AM

Salary:

$65,000.00 – 70,000.00 per year
