Brookwood Hospitality, a leading hospitality management company is expanding its portfolio in the Syracuse, NY region. We are seeking a highly experienced Food and Berverage Director to supervise an established restaurant at a local winery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the food and beverage operations, including coffee service, banquets, dietary department, bartending, and catering.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and profitability of food and beverage offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food and beverage services for events and special occasions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu planning.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
