Basic Qualifications :

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Software Engineer will be part of an innovative team which works to solve complex problems where the solutions provide truly meaningful results. This individual is expected to work effectively in multi-disciplined engineering teams where communication and innovation is key.

What you bring to the table:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent with emphasis in Digital Signal Processing, Communication Theory, Wireless Communications, or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree
• Implement world class Signal Processing algorithms to run in real time on complex integrated HW/SW systems
• Performance evaluation of real time signal processing software
• Strong understanding of C/C++ software development in Unix/Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of software development tools such as Integrated Development Environments (IDE) as well as version control systems and defect reporting tools
• Work effectively in a cross functional team as well as a diverse customer base
• Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs
• Experience working in a fast-paced development environment focused on fielding complex signal processing solutions
• Adept at porting signal processing algorithms from MATLAB or Python to C/C++ for real time operation
• Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency
• Proven Record of Continued self-improvement of skills
