Job Description:

Hammer Marketing is looking to fill a key digital marketing support role. This self-starter will help our Corporate Marketing team plan, develop, implement, and manage ongoing marketing objectives. This person will be responsible for assisting in the execution of digital marketing plans, working in a variety of mediums such as email marketing, SEO, organic and paid social, and marketing automation for both B2B and B2C clients. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can balance the creative and analytical sides of digital marketing. The right candidate will enjoy collaborating with our sales and division leaderships teams. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Generalist to join our growing team and support marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking and is good at prioritizing under minimum supervision. To succeed in the role, you must also be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator. We’re looking for someone who is creative, willing to learn new things, has excellent organizational and communication skills, and is passionate about marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing projects and tasks as required, including but not limited to identifying target audiences, lead capturing, and lead scoring
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend program improvements
  • Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns, including writing content to attract and engage the right audiences and reviewing graphic design
  • Contribute to social media and content calendars by managing the production of interesting and shareable content.
  • Track relevant metrics using analytics tools, monitor KPIs, and campaign effectiveness
  • Assist with requests regarding email marketing, PPC, and social media campaigns
  • Stay up to date with social media and marketing trends and best practices
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractor who support the corporate marketing department

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or relevant experience.

2+ years of experience in a marketing role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Zoom Info, Canva, Photoshop, Premier Pro, etc.

Experience with social media marketing on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

Working knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platform

Familiarity with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics

Knowledge of SEO and keyword research

Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Problem-solving skills, you don’t have to know the answer to every question, but you need to have the skills to find the correct answer

Comfortable interfacing with clients in a professional manner over email, video calls, and in person
