MileOne is now hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant for our internal Marketing team. This position will be an onsite position at our corporate office in Towson, MD.

The Digital Marketing Assistant will contribute to and support all phases of day-to-day digital initiatives and strategies with a focus on dealership website maintenance, vehicle listings optimization, and aid with vendor and inter-department communications. This individual will also work with and support all members of the Digital team on larger-scale, multi-faceted digital projects as scheduled on the Digital Marketing team’s roadmap to help achieve business goals. Additionally, they will collaborate with other marketing team members in terms of design and implementation of marketing campaigns to enhance the overall online presence of MileOne Autogroup.

Responsibilities

1. Contribute to with a variety of website projects
2. Communicate with Regional Marketing teams, website provider, inventory provider & OEM digital reps
3. Maintain existing website content and assist with facilitating new design and content strategies
4. Help monitor inventory presence and communicate strategy updates as needed
5. Assist with maintaining vehicle listing sites
6. Work with Digital Marketing Coordinator & Regional Marketing teams to optimize dealer profiles
7. Attend vendor meetings with Digital team to learn about new industry trends and features
8. Help with resolving common lead and inventory challenges as needed
9. Provide support for large-scale digital and communications projects
10. Attend strategy and planning meetings with marketing, creative staff and digital agency as needed
11. Contribute to the development of ideas for engaging campaigns to achieve business goals (content additions to the websites, vehicle listing sites, newsletters, etc.)
12. Assist with monitoring and reporting for various marketing efforts (i.e. Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
13. Collaborate with the team on social & reputation management
14. Support Digital Marketing Coordinator & Regional Marketing teams with maintaining social profiles and local citations
15. Share with the department any new social and reputation platform features as needed
16. Acquire knowledge of digital marketing in the automotive business
17. Collaborate with the Digital team to identify potential challenges and opportunities to impact the business
18. Prioritize your personal growth as a digital marketer in the automotive industry

Qualifications

1. BA/BS degree in Advertising/Marketing, Communications or Business preferred
2. Advertising or retail-based marketing internship preferred
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
4. Knowledge/familiarity with other relative programs and software are a plus (HTML and other programming languages, Google Analytics 4, CRM/database, Adobe)
