We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Digital Designer/Developer (Email) to join our client's team for a remote contract opportunity!

This role will be responsible for designing and developing email campaigns, including Promotional, Grand Opening, and Loyalty emails, along with related assets. You will work closely with the Digital Design Team, Email Marketing, and cross-functional teams such as Ecommerce, Editorial, and Member Marketing to ensure high-quality design and seamless campaign execution.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop retina-ready, mobile-first interactive emails with dynamic content using HTML & CSS.
• Ensure email compatibility across all ESPs, browsers, and devices.
• Support campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud (HTML/AMPscript), Movable Ink, and other automation tools.
• Make design edits during proofing stages in Figma.
• Collaborate with the Email Marketing Team to align on priorities and schedules.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently, delivering high-quality work on time.
• Stay updated on email best practices and emerging tools to improve campaigns.
• Consistently apply style guide conventions and ensure accuracy through thorough proofing.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Solve creative challenges while adapting to business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• 2-3 years of experience in digital design for marketing or advertising.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, or a related field.
• Excellent online portfolio showcasing your design skills.
• Highly preferred experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Movable Ink, and Litmus (or equivalent ESP tools).
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), and Dreamweaver (or other coding tools).
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS; knowledge of AMPscript is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Monday.com, and general CMS platforms.
• Attention to detail, with an innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Highly organized and efficient in managing multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across creative and business teams.
• Previous experience in e-commerce or retail environments is highly preferred.
• A passion for the beauty industry is essential.
