Your Role

The Digital Shelf Syndication Lead role sits within the Consumer Experience organization, which accelerates NA growth by leading the development of capabilities that drive efficient scale and works with the brands, Customer teams, and the Growth & Performance teams to drive impact with customers and consumers. This role is pivotal in contributing to overarching e-commerce growth, improving delivery, and optimizing results in response to the disruption across e-commerce.

This role will be responsible for syndicating PDP content to various retailers using Salsify, Syndigo, and excel imports. The Syndication Lead role will partner closely with Customer and Digital Shelf teams to deliver timely and accurate content. The individual should comfortably flex between detailed processes and technologies to finding strategic solutions in the omnichannel landscape. Ideal candidate is a self-starter, creative problem solver and inspires with fresh ideas and new approaches.

Hands-on syndication experience with Salsify, Syndigo and retailer portals is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Syndicate digital shelf content from Salsify, Syndigo and directly in vendor portals for New Products and Content Refreshes, including packaging refreshes, brand restages, image/copy optimizations, and enhanced content.
2. Manage content channels to ensure product data is mapped appropriately and coordinate with Content Readiness Lead and/or IT on any attribution changes.
3. Audit and review content readiness, and ensure all retailer required data points are complete, accurate, and ready to syndicate before ship date.
4. Manage ad-hoc customer syndication requests and provide regular updates on progress, issues, or delays.
5. Track content delivery and verification dates to ensure content goes live on retailers and/or content compliance issues are identified.
6. Troubleshoot any content submission issues, submit, and manage tickets on retailer portals.
7. Monitor content accuracy using reports in Salsify and Syndigo. Action on discrepancies and remedy any process gaps to prevent future errors.
8. Continually assess for areas of improvement in syndication process to improve speed-to-market, content accuracy, customer visibility, and minimize touchpoints.
9. Identify areas for opportunity for indirect retailer recipients: workflows, new templates, reporting.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

Required:

1. 3+ years’ experience in digital shelf/ecommerce content syndication; preferably
2. Detailed oriented, with a track record of problem solving, navigating ambiguous environments, learning agility, continuous improvement, and being cross-functionally balanced
3. Ability to manage high volume of syndication requests across retailers
4. Experience using retailer platforms, portals and systems (i.e. Salsify, retailer portals, templates) and creating custom exports.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects / workstreams and adapt to changing priorities
6. Strong experience in managing above-the-fold content (baseline copy, CGI, EDI) and enhanced content below-the-fold
7. Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively
8. Strong visual, written, and oral communication skills
9. Ability to learn new technologies and platforms

Preferred:

1. Knowledge on retailer digital shelf requirements and guidelines
2. Experienced in systems such as DAM, Product360, SAP, GDSN
3. Candidate to have experience at a CPG company of similar size and complexity
