The primary responsibilities of a DevSecOps Specialist include:

1. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Selecting, deploying, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
2. Software Maintenance: Ensuring the deployed software product is maintained throughout its lifecycle.
3. Security Integration: Embedding security practices into the development and deployment processes.
4. Observability: Implementing monitoring and logging to ensure the software’s performance and security can be observed and analyzed.
5. Collaboration: Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

1. 1-3 years hands on experience
2. Bachelors degree; degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field -preferred
3. Must have an active Secret security clearance
4. Must be willing to report on-site two times per week
5. Certifications - CKA, AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps – Associate
6. Sec+ (within six months of onboarding)
7. Possesses demonstrated knowledge (mastery preferred) in the following:- Terraform- Kubernetes- AWS EKS & ECS- Docker- Istio- Jenkins- GitHub- GitLab- Artifactory- Cloud native tools- CI/CD Pipelines developing automation- Help onboarding application on the PaaS and Runtime environment
