Overview and Responsibilities:

Paramount Global is hiring a DevOps Engineer! As a DevOps Engineer at Paramount, you will be an integral part of our Data Engineering team, responsible for building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, crafting automations, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Cloud Administrators, and other collaborators to support our development and production environments.

Responsibilities include:

1. Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
2. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform.
3. Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
4. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code deployments and integrations.
5. Monitor and solve deployment incidents and resolve technical issues.
6. Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes.
7. Develop and maintain user documentation for DevOps processes and systems.
8. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and standard processes in DevOps.
9. 
   

Basic Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience with Linux, and a thorough understanding in writing Bash scripts.
2. Good knowledge of Git, Docker, Terraform, and one of the major cloud platforms.
3. Ability to work with partners to develop custom automations, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Qualifications:

1. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Google Monitoring).
2. Familiarity with Kubernetes.
3. Knowledge of data governance and Information Security standard methodologies.
4. Understanding of API, Firewalls rules, protocols like http
5. Ability to learn new technologies by reading product documentation with little guidance.

Additional Information

Hiring Salary Range: $125,000.00 - 140,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
