When you join PPGNY as the Development Operations Associate you will create, implement, and maintain the structures and operational processes to support the Individual Giving, Institutional Giving, and Special Events teams.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Lead creator and driver for all gift processing systems, keeping the PPGNY processes up to date, with a keen eye to improving gift processing systems including coding
  • Work closely with the Associate, Development Operations to receive, scan, and record all gifts from across the affiliate
  • Responsible for checking the Development voicemail line and solving, delegating, or escalating all donor needs
  • With the AVPD, you will serve as a liaison to the Finance department, ensuring that reporting and reconciling needs are met including all end of month, end of calendar year, and end of fiscal year projects
  • Create the agenda for the bi-monthly Development and Finance meeting, take and circulate notes and action items after each meeting, and manage the outcomes and projects associated decisions made in that space
  • Monitor all gifts of stock and the related accounting and reporting, as well as monitor, manage, and report out gifts made via wire transfer
  • Act as the contact for processing, reporting, and reconciling all gifts for C4, Political Committee, and Political Action Committee donations

You have:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume customer service role
  • Previous experience working in a database
  • Two (2) years of experience providing direct administrative support and familiarity with nonprofit fundraising infrastructure

Compensation:

  • $57,000-60,000 yearly

All positions at PPGNY require:

Proof of immunization or immunity to certain communicable diseases (including influenza during the flu season and Covid-19) and testing for tuberculosis. These certifications are required by the NYC DOHMH Health Code, NYSDOH and OSHA.
