- As a technician, you will work in a highly directed environment as part of an onsite team.
- Your assignments will include repair activities such as replaceable unit swapping, image loading, and unit testing using a detailed script.
- You will also perform other non-troubleshooting duties.
- Direction will be provided by script, help desk or service desk in a Next Business Day (NBD) and/or Same Business Day (SBD) service delivery environment.
Responsibilities:
- Server Support, FRU replacements, deployments and other electronic equipment.
- Takes service calls and performs incident specific activities as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk or script.
- May perform routine installs, moves, adds and changes as part of a directed team, including: Complex server configuration and setup.
- A+ certification desired but not required.
- US Citizen preferred but not required.
- Candidate must be able to work solo and follow directions given. This is a field service break-fix position inside a datacenter complex...it is not a help desk or remote support position.
Job Requirements:
Day to day handling of assigned drive replacements, upgrades when scheduled, RMA parts and closing calls real time.
