Job Description:

iENGINEERING is looking for a Database Developer who has proven experience of working with large databases and hands on experience using latest data modelling tools. The developer should have strong logical and analytical skills and experience in all mainstream databases systems such as Oracle 12C and MS SQL Server.

Department: Technology & Development.

Reports to: Section Lead Database.

Qualification: Minimum 4-year degree preferably in BCS/BS.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in database design and development.

Requirements

Understand all phases of the database design, development and administration.
Able to create database schema/structure based on the conceptual data models.
Strong concepts in database normalization tasks for relational databases.
Develop, tune, execute, and manage Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers.
Monitoring database performance and tuning SQL queries and identifying and resolving scalability issues.
Perform capacity analysis and oversee database tuning.
Able to write and manage DDL and DML scripts.
Skilled in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL statements.
Strong analytical skills.
Able to optimize data retrieval tasks.
Skilled in data migration activities using appropriate ETL codes and techniques.
Should be able to provide support in database documentation including database standards, procedures, and data dictionary.
Perform database administrative tasks.
Proven work experience as a Database developer.
Proficient in MS SQL Server Databases.
Proficient in Oracle Databases.
Proven work experience as an Oracle Database administrator.
Familiarity with Oracle database design, development, and documentation.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse concept is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
