The Creative Designer is the internal creative arm of the Marketing Team and instrumental in the development of new innovative deliverables that will support the MorseLife Sales and Marketing efforts across all mediums. This role contributes with the visualization, design and conceptualization of digital assets and online/offline creative experiences.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Creates and delivers a broad range of cross-platform designs, including but not limited to digital/print ads, video marketing, and design mockups for responsive sites, emails, digital banners, and mobile/tablet apps.
Integrates technical and visual solutions into a design concept.
Understands marketing trends within the scope of the industry, including but not limited to digital, content, social media and video marketing.
Uses graphic design and other relevant software such as Adobe Design Studio (In design, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
Works with the digital marketing team to design and develop marketing materials through appealing graphics.
Creates high-level PowerPoint presentation templates for the department and Executive Team as needed.
Helps design wireframes and User Interfaces for Website and Mobile applications.
Applies design principles to color, typography, layout and image choices appropriately to create visual solutions that meet business standards and user needs.
Understands and applies Online Standards and brand guidelines to visual designs
Provides quality assurance of creative deliverables
Creates all on and off location video productions including: storyboarding, planning, and coordination in advance of video projects for approval.
Films and edits value videos, about/intro videos, events, miscellaneous videos according to department needs.
Captures photo images and applies photo editing techniques for marketing purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
2+ years of professional Creative Design experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
