Responsibilities of the Contracts Negotiator:

• Negotiate business terms, service-levels, pricing details or legal terms for multi-year tech and service contracts in financial services/community banks industry
• Evaluate client’s current invoices and existing contracts to capture relevant business terms, dates, and pricing.
• Request and evaluate new vendor pricing and contract terms based on client’s strategies for vendor selection and unique business needs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by uncovering and analyzing client needs, providing and recommending solutions, and guiding the process with internal key stakeholders to achieve clients’ goals and objectives.
• Control multiple factors of the negotiation process to ensure it progresses smoothly

Requirements of the Contracts Negotiator:

• Must possess specific knowledge and understanding of “core” banking systems, software and services available for the community bank and credit union markets and have excellent familiarity with their associated outsource technology (ASP) contracts.
• Previous expertise and employment history with any current core, IT, fintech supplier, merchant services (ISOs) to banks or credit unions.
• May also have experience as an actual banker that once procured, managed and/or negotiated price, service levels and contract terms against any of the following vendors including (but not limited to) Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry & Associates, Q2, Digital Insight, Elan,Worldpay, First Data, etc
• Strong familiarity with business legal concepts and contract management is a plus.
• Enjoy zealously negotiating for the benefit of our banking clients you represent to the very end seeking 100% client satisfaction and earning positive references at all times
• Self-motivated and capable of organizing and prioritizing work to achieve required results

The salary for this role is $90,000, alongside a generous commission scheme and performance-based bonuses also. The company believe in a true work-life balance and all work on flexi-time, as long as the job is done the hours you work can be flexible.
