Job Description:
  • Build original, relevant, and compelling written content for the wide-ranging portfolio of businesses that comprise Campbell Companies. Pieces include press releases, customer communications, e-newsletters, white papers, blogs, brochure/ad copy, sales collateral, company profiles, radio, and on-hold message scripts
  • Creator and editor of Campbell Companies quarterly employee newsletter, Legacy
  • Perform keyword research and create content based on findings
  • Work collaboratively with marketing specialists to develop a content calendar, write e-newsletters and proofread social media posts
  • Leverage supplier materials, subject matter experts and visit customer job sites for content creation
  • Review, edit and enhance company websites and social media profiles to improve quality and ensure info is correct and current
  • Create Wikipedia pages for all Campbell businesses
  • Understand company goals to develop and execute content strategies to support their achievement
  • Produce on-demand content sought by and tailored to specific audiences
  • Support the creation and distribution of internal communications using SharePoint and/or other programs/means about community involvement, events, and company news
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and brand image with strict adherence to brand standards
  • Partner with internal teams to develop content roadmaps
  • Stay current with digital content trends and make recommendations to improve the company's content strategy.
  • Assist with other various marketing endeavors as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communication or Public Relations
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in content development, writing and editing
  • Talented storyteller with impeccable editing and proofreading capabilities and thorough at fact checking
  • Advanced writing and editing abilities with careful attention to detail
  • A customer-first attitude paired with a firm understanding of tone and how to tailor your voice by target audience
  • Strong curiosity with love for interviewing, conversing, and learning
  • Knowledgeable with major social media platforms and how to construct messages best suited for each p
  • Savvy with Microsoft Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Photography skills a huge plus
  • Familiarity with HTML, WordPress and SEO knowledge is desired
  • High level of vision, creativity, and ingenuity
  • Team player who is willing to work outside of designated job duties as required
  • Solid research skills
  • Unwavering commitment to working safely
