Job Description:

LHH is currently partnering with our client in the Washington, DC area looking to bring on a Conference Coordinator. This is a temporary to hire position that will help support preparation for a large conference and manage administrative duties. The hourly pay for this position is $21- $24 per hour based on experience. The role will begin the first week of June and run for 2 weeks. If you are open to learning more, please apply today!

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Conference Support Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of our events, providing administrative support to the conference planning team, and enhancing the overall attendee experience.

 

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, seminars, and workshops.
  • Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls related to conference logistics.
  • Maintain and update conference databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with vendors, venues, and service providers to coordinate logistical details.
  • Assist in arranging travel, accommodations, and transportation for conference speakers and attendees.
  • Monitor and manage conference schedules, ensuring timely adherence to timelines.
  • Serve as a point of contact for conference-related inquiries, providing information and assistance to participants.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of conference materials, including programs, agendas, and promotional materials.
  • Provide on-site support during conferences, ensuring smooth registration processes and addressing attendee inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the events team to troubleshoot and resolve any logistical issues that may arise during the event.
  • Compile post-conference reports, summarizing key metrics, feedback, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to conference planning and execution.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative support or event coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and conference management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
