Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Licensed Mental Health Clinician. As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician at Innovative Therapy and Counseling, you will provide individual, couple, and group therapy sessions to individuals experiencing mental health issues. You will develop and implement treatment plans, assess clients' needs and offer the necessary referrals, and determine appropriate interventions based on clients' needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Current and valid CT Clinical Mental Health License (i.e. LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
• Good understanding of various therapy models, such as Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, Solution-focused therapy, and Brief therapy
• Experience treating individuals with various mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders
• Experience using teletherapy platforms
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely client records
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
