Job Description:

Where do we Run?

250 mile radius of Nashville. Every driver home at the end of daily shift, barring unforeseen circumstances.

What do we haul?

Primarily, palletized, no touch F.A.K.

What kind of trucks?

Late model Freightliner and International day cabs, automatics. 53’ dry vans. Most trailers new, some older but in good repair.

What time do we start?

Between 4am and 7am, you can work out your set daily start time with dispatch.

Do we work on weekend?

We have schedules that include weekend days

and Monday through Friday drivers can pick up a weekend day if requested.

Do we work at night?

We have night linehaul and night shuttle shifts available sometimes. Need to check Availability

Do we work holidays?

We get 6 paid holidays. We are guaranteed off Christmas day and Thanksgiving Day. We must be available to work all other holidays unless we request off two weeks in advance. We get paid holiday pay plus our normal pay if we work a Holiday.

Do we have benefits?

We have all the benefits. Blue Cross Blue Shield medical, drug, eye, dental, supplemental (Disability), Life and 401K with matching.

Benefits start after 90 days. 401K starts at 1year.

What’s the work environment like?

Relaxed, not hurried. Very few appointments. Dispatch takes care of the driver but the loads do have to get moved.

How much do we get paid?

Depending on shift, days and experience and incentive: Up to $28.00

How does the attendance Incentive work?

It starts after the first full calendar month. (Not 30 days)

If a driver misses no days during the month, that driver gets $2 extra on the hour and .03 cent on the mile for the following month. It rolls over from month to month.

If a driver misses a day in a month, then in the following month, that driver does not make $2 extra dollars per hour or .03 cents per mile.

But the driver can pick up the attendance incentive again after one full calendar month of qualifying attendance.

Do We always get paid hourly?

No. When a driver pulls a load over 150 air miles from Nashville, that driver is paid a mileage rate that corresponds to the normal hourly rate.

Can I run just hourly?

No. All drivers will have a combination of hourly and mileage days. Dispatch will try to work with drivers. The driver who wants to run farther will have more mileage days and the driver who likes to run shorter will have less.

Can I work at night on weekends?

No. All night shifts are Monday through Friday.
