Branch Manager

Circle Logistics is one of the fastest growing 3PL/Transportation Service Providers in the US. Our success is attributable to the many dedicated team members we have today. We plan to open new Branch Offices in several U.S. Markets, and we’re seeking highly motivated professionals with proven track records and a thirst for success! Our Branch Offices are company owned and operated and supported by our Corporate Office in Fort Wayne, Indiana.


Responsibilities Include:

  1. Overseeing all administrative, operational and sales functions of the branch
  2. Managing operations to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded
  3. Overseeing HR administration including performance and staffing
  4. Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
  5. Maintaining responsibility of branch P&L and providing monthly performance updates
  6. Developing new business and achieving financial goals, with guidance from the leadership team
  7. Performing additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  1. 8 years of experience in logistics/transportation with focus on business development and P/L management
  2. 5 years of experience with progressive professional growth
  3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/relevant professional qualification
  4. Freight brokerage or account management experience preferred
  5. Transportation experience in dispatch and/or operations preferred
  6. Book of business (truck base or customer base) preferred
  7. Detail oriented with the ability to maintain a positive attitude towards employees and customers
  8. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  9. Knowledge of electronic transportation platforms and software
  10. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
  11. Freight brokering/dispatching: 2 years (Required)
  12. Willing to be available after hours and weekends, as needed
  13. Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  14. Strong work ethic
