TITLE – Backend Engineer

ANTICIPATED DURATION: 5-6 month contract (likely to extend quarterly)

LOCATION: 100% remote (must be able to work PST hours)

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Backend Engineer to develop and

maintain scalable backend services while improving cloud infrastructure. You will be

responsible for implementing microservices, exposing REST and GraphQL APIs to UI

teams, and optimizing AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure for high availability and

performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and

user-friendly applications.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development,

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.

• Experience with Database (SQL or NoSQL), and message queue such as Kafka.

• Experience building microservices and designing REST APIs.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and container technology

(Docker).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

The hourly pay range for this position is $75.00-84.15/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
