Overview:

Provide support to the editor-in-chief by contributing to the editorial workflow for Chiropractic Economics magazine and Chiropractic Economics website, including copy editing and proofreading all print and digital content, to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.

How you'll make an impact:

  1. Writing assignments, such as press releases, designated departments and front of the book assignments in the printed magazine, sponsored content and other articles as requested.
  2. Website support, including continually reviewing process improvements to enhance user experience and SEO.
  3. Create schedules for print-to-digital articles, digital issues, digital exclusives, news posting and related tasks.
  4. Buyers Guide: Assist in the development of two annual buyers guides, including editing profiles, proofreading descriptions and proofreading alpha listings for consistency. Continue to streamline production process.
  5. Surveys, assisting in the development, deployment and analysis of two annual surveys per year. Continually looking for ways to improve user experience and response rate according to survey best practices. Help write survey summary and create graphs and tables for print CE magazine.
  6. Maintain and update SOPs as needed.
  7. Other duties as assigned by EIC.

About you:

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree; Minimum 3 years Copywriting experience.
  2. Knowledge of digital, non-digital and integrated media, with ability to edit content for the web and a willingness to learn how to help manage digital content.
