About the Role
ESPRIT is seeking a Assoc. Creative Director who will partner closely with the brand’s VP, Global Brand Creative, to execute upon and ensure the consistency of Esprit’s overall brand creative direction. As a core member of the brand’s creative team, the Assoc. Creative Dir. is equally capable supporting senior leadership executing upon big idea thinking while also possessing the initiative to problem solve independently, operating as an effective lead to manage and work closely with cross-functional business partners – marketing, copy, product, and merchants – to bring that vision to life across all channels. This is a role for someone who is eager to develop their skills as creative director and whom possess the confidence to challenge themselves and take on more responsibility. Your day-to-day role will have you working on everything from iterating creative for our tent-pole brand campaigns to leading storytelling content for our daily emails. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized and complements a tireless work ethic with a deep knowledge and enthusiasm for fashion, design, and cultural trends, merging both to think big picture without losing sight of the daily needs of brand operations and marketing needs.
Your Main Responsibilities
Support the VP, Global Brand Creative and the Chief Brand Office in delivering best-in-class creative and marketing that adheres to brand direction while at the same time bringing to the table fresh ideas that push Esprit further.
Own work through lifecycle of project—concept, development, refinement, execution — whether it is the creation of an email content strategy or working on set on a campaign photo shoot.
Uphold the brand’s creative direction while working closely with cross-functional business partners, delivering on core business needs while also ensuring the uniformity of brand identity across the breadth of Esprit’s consumer touchpoints.
Work closely with Art Directors, Marketer, Copywriters to develop and implement creative ideas andbrand projects based on marketing objectives and informing strategy.
Take ideas from concept to execution either by providing direction to partners on the creative team, external agencies and freelance partners.
Participate in weekly creative reviews and provide feedback and direction to key stakeholders.
Serve as daily support for the VP, Global Brand Creative navigating and synthesizing creative feedback, adhering to timelines, balancing priorities and refining strategies
Your Skills and Competencies
5-7 years of creative experience, preferably in the fashion, beauty, or agency fields
College degree; BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or Fine Art
You have a portfolio that speaks to both your potential and past experience
Knowledge of key players in the fashion industry – from photographer and models – to potential brands to partner is a plus as is an ability to convert ideas into dynamic creative solutions.
Familiarity with Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Keynote and PowerPoint are a plus.
A wide-ranging knowledge of image making and branding, especially for social media platforms
Up-to-date knowledge of creative best practices for relevant digital formats
Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly and articulately explain your rationale and evoke excitement with your recommendations
Strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
Skilled at working cross-functionally—especially with marketing and ecommerce
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where deadlines, priorities, and initiatives pivot frequently

Compensation Range $170,000-$180,000: This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
