We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Ensure that all employees are providing excellent customer service and adhering to café policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor new staff members, providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Monitor café performance and provide regular reports to the Manager on sales, expenses, and other key metrics.
- Ensure that the café maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
