Position Overview

The Application Developer is responsible for using best coding practices to identify, document, build, and support web-based applications. This role will also provide support functions and perform ancillary duties as assigned. Superior technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify, document, and develop opportunities for creating, improving, and supporting company web applications
2. Support ongoing application and development functions
3. Work with teammates to prioritize, design, build, test, deploy, troubleshoot, document, and support technology solutions using industry best practices
4. Perform a wide range of other ancillary duties in support of existing applications and company initiatives as necessary

Requirements

Skills & Knowledge

1. High-level proficiency in: PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Laravel, Bootstrap, SPA Frameworks, Application Design and Development
2. Proficiency in: Full Stack LAMP Development, Linux, MySQL, some ETL knowledge, PLSQL
3. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
4. Strong interpersonal skills

Experience

1. Knowledge of retail sales terms/pharmacy data and terminology
2. Experience with other development technologies and methods
3. Experience with AWS

Working Conditions

1. Most work will be performed remotely from home
2. Majority of work hours spent seated at a computer monitor using a mouse and keyboard
