Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a versatile professional to help build the technical foundation for our future.

We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the evolution of our infrastructure, ensure reliable deployments, and promote best practices in cloud operations, CI/CD, and platform management. A passion for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is key, as you’ll be responsible for ensuring our systems remain scalable, reliable, and available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance monitoring and observability capabilities continuously.
• Work closely with the engineering team to optimize software delivery for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Proactively monitor and log system health using tools like NewRelic and Sentry, ensuring high uptime and rapid issue resolution.
• Lead system reliability efforts, including log monitoring, system availability, and performance tracking.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, primarily in GitLab.
• Oversee Kubernetes and ECS orchestration to ensure optimal containerization and deployment.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud resources with a focus on performance, security, and cost.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Maintain and enforce security best practices throughout our infrastructure and deployments.
• Create and refine internal tools and processes to foster operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a senior DevOps role.
• Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Advanced skills in application health monitoring, troubleshooting, and logging.
• Strong focus on system reliability, performance monitoring, and optimization.
• Proven track record of designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitLab.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong scripting/programming ability

Salary:

• $145k - $160k + Bonus + Equity
