As Service Line Director for the Orthopedics, you will work collaboratively with high-profile physicians and executive hospital leadership to provide strategic direction and implementation oversight across the 10-hospital enterprise. The Service Line Director plays a vital role in recruitment and program development, strategic and financial planning, regionalization of care, and physician engagement. You will lead within a highly matrixed organization and interface with corporate leadership within IT, finance, marketing/communications, analytics, and strategy.
In this role, you will:
Manage the orthopedics book of business, including setting the strategic vision for orthopedic care in the tri-state area;
Help grow, standardize, and transform the care model for orthopedics;
Collaborate with colleagues to promote regionalization in Brooklyn, Queens, and Westchester;
Develop business plans and new programs;
Develop strategies to address transformation in the healthcare landscape;
Devise strategies to improve quality and operational metrics, such as 30-day readmissions;
Increase patient engagement and consumer-centric access initiatives;
Manage clinical and non-clinical staff; and
Manage other projects as they arise.
