Office of Children's Services (OCS) is
recruiting for a full-time Accounting Technician 1 located in
Anchorage, Alaska.
What you will be doing
Accounting Technician 1s are a valued position in the Office of Children's Services by acting as accounting, budget, or financial management support and applying established regulations, requirements, procedures, and operations to perform various related duties that use different and unrelated processes, procedures, or methods. Performing the work requires knowledge of the various steps and procedures necessary to perform a range of accounting, budget, or financial management duties related to recurring or standardized transactions.

This position is located in the Anchorage Regional Office on 4th and Cordova within walking distance to downtown amenities.

- Computer Skills: Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work.

Employees working in the field may be required to undergo COVID-19 testing with negative test results if travelling into communities that require a negative result. This position requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment.

- The successful candidate may be required to attend multiple training courses normally located in Anchorage.
