The ideal candidate is either a recent college graduate with a degree in Accounting and a desire to pursue a career in public accounting, or a current Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of experience in Public Accounting looking to improve their professional development and advance to the next level by joining a well-established CPA firm.

It is essential that this candidate has the ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments while working proficiently, both in groups and autonomously. The candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Partners and Mangers to complete assignments accurately and efficiently.

Tax return preparation for individuals, business, trusts and nonprofit organizations.

Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Suite products
• Experience using Quickbooks and ProSystem fx software is a plus
