We are hiring a tech to help 3D scan and measure parts for reverse engineering, documenting part conditions, and QC.

Responsibilities

Prepare parts for scanning, use a 3D scanner and software to develop 3D part files, use analog measuring techniques to supplement measurements from scanner, and document findings.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (shafts, bearings, bearing housings, etc)
• Ability to learn new computer programs quickly and be comfortable learning various technical 3D software platforms.
• Be comfortable in a shop environment.
• Desire to work for a small company in a fast-pace environment where goals, responsibilities, and work processes may change frequently.
• Experience working with calipers, micrometers, and other basic measuring devices or experience in rotating equipment is a plus.
